flower and
preroll boxes
Pros: Citrus aroma, focused effects
Cons: Broken QR code
As always, Grizzly Peak delivered another fantastic batch of flower. This eighth was delivered in a clear glass jar, surrounded by a brand sticker and complete with eye-catching, holographic gold trim. Listed were the top three terpenes found in the flower. An additional, small product testing sticker was haphazardly applied, and the print on the sticker was almost too small and blurry to decipher. A QR code was also provided, but this link could not be picked up via my smartphone.
Inside were small to medium-sized buds that were dense, aromatic, and properly cured. The flower was bright green in color, showered in trichomes, and had dark, fire-orange hairs popping through the foliage. The flower emits an initial citrus aroma that is quickly followed by piney/floral notes. Testing at a respectable 31.73% THC, this flower ground up well, smoked without any harshness and provided its effects promptly. The effects were energetic, mood-boosting, and left me feeling focused.
Like you would expect with a Grizzly Peak product, this was high-quality, and professionally cured + trimmed. A wonderful product choice for any cannabis sativa lover!
Good for:
Pros: Thick nugs, high THC %
Cons: N/A
This flower is excellent across the board! The packaging has a nice San Francisco cityscape over its large viewing window, which shows off the flower inside. Classy and effective. The product label contains key info (the only thing missing is a terpene profile).
The flower itself looks fantastic, with mainly darker green colors, orange hairs, and heaps of trichomes. My eighth was three buds, with the largest one weighing in around 2g, and no popcorn or shake to be found. The bud structure/density is thick, and they feel fresh to the touch, with a pack date in the last month. The aroma is sweet and cheesy, as you'd expect from a blend of “cookie” strains. Nice and pungent upon opening the jar. The taste follows suit with some definite cheesy and creamy flavors.
The smoke was not harsh, even after several bong rips. The effects are quite strong, with a very relaxing and somewhat sedating high. This is a sleepy time strain for sure. Nearly 35% THC is an amazing number to see for a non-infused flower, placing this clearly in the industry-leading category. Overall, this is a great choice for anyone with insomnia or those looking for a chill night on the couch.
Good for:
Pros: Potent effects, sweet/citrusy aroma
Cons: N/A
The packaging is very eye-catching, with a clean and elegant label in shiny colors of black, white, and gold. It definitely gives off Bay Area vibes, with a clear window to see the contents of the flower inside. The buds are medium in size and density and have a sweet and citrusy aroma with strong earthy notes. The buds felt fresh to the touch, providing a slight bounce when squeezed between the fingers. The bright green leaves have a generous sprinkle of trichomes, with dull orange pistils and subtle purple hues sprinkled throughout the bud. Smoke was smooth as butter, with no throat discomfort at all. Effects were potent and very effective, giving off a heavy head high with deep muscle relaxation.
Good for:
Pros: Fresh buds, energizing effects
Cons: N/A
Mohave is a top-shelf experience time after time, and it’s always a pleasure when I cross paths with this brand. The flower looks amazing but tastes and hits even better. This beautiful bud is fresh and has a strong blend of lemon zest, diesel, and grass flavor that is incredibly smooth. The effects are fast and flawless, with a euphoric and energizing effect but a minor physical component that helps to add a touch of weightlessness to it. This flower is great for creative or physical endeavors thanks to its strong cerebral effects that provide focus and functionality!
Good for:
Pros: Trichome-packed, long-lasting effects
Cons: QR code would be nice
The packaging is great! The squared glass jar is different; the graphics and color palette are simple but bold. Basic information regarding the strain is provided; however, I wish they included a QR code to provide more information regarding the brand.
The flower looks amazing – the nugs are a good size, and each nug has beautifully visible trichomes. The flower has a sweet diesel, almost cheesy scent, and I am here for it. The effects are almost immediate and felt throughout the entire body – long-lasting but not overwhelming. It feels relaxing, but if you need to get up and handle “light” business, you can. There is no bad aftertaste, and it is smooth on the throat.
Good for:
Pros: Trichome-heavy, sedative effects
Cons: Label may be difficult to read
This was a very beautiful batch of flower from Mohave Reserve. The eighth came in a clear, cube glass jar topped with a similarly cube-shaped plastic black top. Those with difficulty reading small print may need to break out their reading glasses to see the text, but the label provides your surface-level information with nothing more.
Inside contained 3.5g of medium-sized, dense, properly cured buds. Each flower showcased a plethora of colors, ranging from bright to dark green and even purple pops of foliage. There were also bright orange hairs and trichomes nearly everywhere you looked. The flower ground up well and smoked as smooth as fresh air.
This particular 'Godfather' strain demonstrated a clove/herbal/floral aroma, which leads me to believe the dominant terpene here is Myrcene. That said, this 31.60% THC flower produced relaxing and sedating effects. Ultimately, this was a fantastic flower that I believe any cannabis aficionado would enjoy!
Good for:
Pros: Beautiful flower, well-balanced high
Cons: N/A
These nugs are simply beautiful; the forest green leaves are engulfed in a heavy dusting of sparkling trichomes that reach deep into the center of the flower. A sour woodsy aroma fills the air as you break down the bud, leaving a small stick behind on your fingers. The burn was clean and even, with only the slightest throat burn on exhale. Effects are well-balanced, giving both a cerebral uplift along with body relaxation. Overall a very enjoyable flower experience!
Good for:
Pros: Well-balanced effects, pine aroma
Cons: N/A
Not a bad flower to keep in the stash! I feel as though the quality of Revelry flower gets better and better every time I try their products. This flower has a light earthy/piney type of scent to it. An ideal balanced hybrid thanks to the strains it’s derived from. I felt an immediate cerebral euphoric high that steadily transitions to a relaxing, physical effect that ripples through the body. Still very functional and ideal for daytime use to help with body aches without getting weighed or slowed down.
Good for:
Pros: Sweet berry flavor, upbeat effects
Cons: Plastic packaging
While Mylar bags aren’t my preferred packaging, I appreciate a thoughtful design, and this one is beautiful. It’s simple but complex. Has native vibes and a lovely selection of colors on a matte finish. Beautiful artwork that made me immediately forget the missing glass jar.
When I opened the bag up, I understood the strain's name immediately. Sharp notes of strawberries with a hint of vanilla and cream – Strawberry Smoothie is the perfect description of this flower. The buds range in size from small to medium, with light green leaves and a peek of purple, covered in rust-color pistils and snowy white trichomes. The flower felt very fresh and left a moderate amount of stick behind on the fingers when breaking down. Taste mimicked the delightful creamy strawberry scent, leaving a lingering sweet berry flavor behind. The effects brought on an upbeat and energetic high that kept me productive throughout the day.
Good for:
Pros: Functional high, fluffy flower
Cons: Plastic packaging
I am not a huge fan of the plastic packaging; however, the color palette and soft graphics are eye catchy. The packaging provides basic information regarding the strain. The flower is beautiful and fluffy. It has a piney scent, and the trichomes are clearly visible on every nug. The flower doesn’t leave much of a residue on the fingers when breaking apart, but it does break apart nicely.
The effects are almost immediate and felt throughout the body. It is smooth on the throat with no bad aftertaste. The effects are not overwhelming, and although it is an Indica, it is a light Indica, allowing you to remain active and feel a bit lovely at the same time.
Good for:
flower and
preroll boxes
Pros: Smooth burn, happy high
Cons: Bland packaging
This preroll is nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. The package is a standard “doob tube” with a child-proof pop-top and tamper seal. The label has creamy off-white and red coloring but not much in the way of graphic design. The tube does protect the product well, though. Product label info is pretty standard.
The preroll itself is decently rolled, with some looseness at the base. Not enough that it affected the lighting or smoking process. It has a generic look with white paper, an unbranded crutch, and a fold-over end. The lighting process was flawless, with the burn remaining reasonably even throughout. No relights were needed, but there was a slight slant in the burn line toward the end.
The flavor is mild, with some earthy and cheesy undertones. The smoke was not harsh and surprisingly light on the lungs, even after smoking the whole thing to myself. The effects are on the heavy side for a sativa strain. I'd call it a euphoric and happy high. Not much of an energy boost, but definitely no sedation either. The sativa category checks out, making this a good choice for a nature hike or afternoon on the golf course. Also, 30% THC is a great number for a non-infused preroll.
In short, I think this is a great mid-tier product. It's definitely a no-frills classic preroll, but the effects are great, and the price is right.
Good for:
Pros: Energizing effects, creamy exhale
Cons: N/A
This is a great non-infused preroll from Bakers. It seems like they use fresh ground flower and not shake, so the effects were stronger, and it hit fairly quickly – within 2-3 minutes after the first inhale. The flavor is mild but a bit creamy and earthy, with an uplifting and energizing effect. Perfect for daytime use. Super smooth, effective and great for when you need a boost to get moving. My only warning for this product is to be ready for some munchies.
Good for:
Pros: Lovely body high, uplifting effects
Cons: N/A
This pre-roll comes in a pretty standard plastic tube type of packaging. The brand provides basic information about the strain and type, which is appreciated. The graphics and color palette pop and grab your eyes' attention.
The pre-roll came well-packed and did not feel too tight or too loose. It felt just right and is a great size. It has a slight scent of fruit and earthy undertones. It burned slowly and almost evenly – the beginning had me a bit worried that it was going to canoe; however, it fixed itself.
The effects hit you almost instantly and are felt throughout your entire body. You don't feel much in the head, but the body high is so lovely and smooth. The effects lasted a while and were not overwhelming – very relaxing and a bit uplifting.
Good for:
Pros: Enjoyable flavor, fast-acting effects
Cons: Imperfectly rolled
The packaging has an interesting “trippy” design, but the materials feel a bit cheap. I noticed the labeling contains a good amount of information, including the total THC, CBD, and the pkg/exp dates. The pre-roll is large, has a decent appearance, and is covered in kief. The burn was not very even, and the pre-roll began to bend halfway through consuming. It seemed to be rolled slightly loose.
The flavor was enjoyable and consisted of sweet, earthy pine terpenes. The smoke was also very smooth and had a clean feel that did not cause any irritation to the throat. The effects were fast acting and provided a euphoric and uplifting head high that boosted creativity and energy. Overall, despite the imperfect roll, I would still recommend this product for its good taste, potent effects, and ease on the lungs.
Good for:
Pros: Caked in kief, relaxing/creative effects
Cons: Rolled a bit too tight
This 1.1g preroll was very fun to smoke. It came in black and gold mylar-style packaging, featuring two images of palm trees, with cannabis plants as the tree leaves. A notation of "Indica Blend" is listed across the top, along with a "Night" image, complete with a cloud and moon. The back of the pack shows the strain, and the rest of the product information is surface-level at best.
This joint was absolutely caked in keef. It was rolled using a run-of-the-mill Raw cone and was packed a bit too tightly. This led to an inconsistent smoking experience, which relied on hard drags that resulted in little smoke. After massaging out the preroll and covering my fingers in the kief, I finally established a smooth drag. Testing at a potent 40% THC, this preroll was never harsh and burned evenly despite the early issues. This 'Perfect Triangle' strain provided relaxing effects without being overly sedative and stimulated a bit of late-night creativity.
Overall this was a solid preroll (blunt) that I enjoyed sharing with my friends. I think anyone looking for a potent, kief-rolled blunt to bring to a party should consider this Crème Genetics preroll.
Good for:
Pros: Eye-catching design, well-balanced high
Cons: N/A
The packaging is intriguing and immediately catches the eye. The color palette and graphics are chic and make you want to pick the product up to look at it. Basic product information regarding the strain is provided. The pre-roll is well-packed and generous on the kief. It gives off a strong aroma of chocolate and strawberries; very lovely. It is a good size and is a real treat for the eyes and nose.
The effects are almost immediate and felt throughout the body and a bit in the head. For the most part, the preroll burned evenly and very slowly. There is no bad aftertaste, and the effects linger, which is always nice. It takes you on a lovely ride. The high isn't overwhelming; however, it will have you feeling relaxed.
Good for:
Pros: Heavy body buzz, long-lasting effects
Cons: Unevenly rolled
I love the old-timey design of the Roller’s Delight label, but I really wish it came housed in a glass jar. The prerolls inside are caked in a thick layer of kief. They weren’t perfectly uniform in size; one was much shorter than the others, and another was noticeably longer. The kief also made its way to the filter, so I had to clean it up a bit before smoking.
The preroll lit up easily and burned evenly. There was a slight throat burn on inhale, but nothing out of the ordinary for an infused roll. The flavor was delightful, with sweet earth and grape notes detected. Effects were very heavy – which is where this product shined the most. An instant body buzz came on with a deep relaxation that had me melting into the couch with sweet satisfaction. All stress and worry quickly disappeared and were replaced with a euphoria that lasted well over an hour. It was the perfect way to end a long and stressful day!
Good for:
Pros: Potent effects, even burn
Cons: Slightly harsh
These infused prerolls definitely pack a punch. The package is a small plastic jar with a child-proof lid and tamper seal. Glass would give it a more premium feel, but this does the job. The graphics are in an old-timey motif, with red and gold coloring. The prerolls fit pretty well inside, with no concern about accidentally squashing. The label info is pretty standard; no QR code or terp profile.
The prerolls themselves are nicely rolled, with a consistent kief coating throughout the 7-pack. Just the right amount of tightness. They have naturally colored paper and a branded crutch with twist enclosures. The lighting process was quick and easy, and the burn remained even throughout. No canoes or relights were needed, as the kief coating kept it going at a decent speed.
The flavor was heavy on the blueberry, as expected from this classic strain. The smoke was a tad harsh, probably due to the heavy infusion. The first hit sent me to cough town, but after that, my lungs adapted to it. The effects are extremely strong, with a euphoric and very chill high. I would place this more towards the middle of the hybrid spectrum regarding effects. Still, it's not a sedating knockout strain. After that big first hit, I got the classic watery eyes and stoney face feeling, just like the old days.
Overall, I think this is a great purchase for seasoned smokers looking for one of the most potent prerolls available. These are clearly not meant for first-timers. The plastic packaging surely keeps the cost down, making these a great value.
Good for:
Pros: Focused effects, body buzz
Cons: Tad harsh on the lungs
These little prerolls pack a nice punch. I would say this is a solid infused preroll pack for those on a budget. All packed to perfection, there was an incredible scent of watermelon with a citrusy fruit flavor to match. There is a bit of a harshness/throat burn that tends to come with infused prerolls like this pack, but it’s very bearable.
I enjoyed one of these prerolls before getting some dishes done with my headphones on and making light work of my full sink. When I finished up and relaxed on the couch, I started to feel aches and pains melt away. I definitely would suggest a product like this for the experienced infused consumer.
Good for:
Pros: Pleasant flavors, uplifting effects
Cons: N/A
The packaging for these pre-rolls has a clean and sleek design. The materials used seem to be high quality as well. I noticed the labeling contained a good amount of information, including the total THC, CBD, cannabinoids, and mfg/pkg dates. The appearance of these pre-rolls looks great. They are very consistent and are rolled well with a nice and tight appearance. They are small in size with a thick layer of kief – good for solo consumption.
The burn is very smooth and even throughout. I loved the flavor, which was very sweet and earthy with a touch of citrus and pine! The smoke was clean and did not cause any irritation to the throat. The flower used seems to be of higher quality.
I enjoyed the effects, which were potent and fast acting. I noticed uplifting and energizing effects, followed by mood elevation and a focused feeling as well. The infusion of diamonds and distillate really seem to make a noticeable difference in the potency. I highly recommend this product for its great taste, potent effects, and clean smoke.
Good for:
Pros: Clean high, pleasant mango aroma
Cons: Short-lived effects
The packaging is appreciated; it protects the pre-rolls from damage if you throw them into a bag. The color palette and graphics are soft and easy on the eyes, and the brand provides basic product information regarding the strain.
The pre-rolls were well-packed. The kief infusion is visible, and you are greeted with a pleasant aroma of mangoes and fruit as soon as you open the jar. These pre-rolls are “mini”, but because they are infused, I initially suspected that they would hit hard.
The effects took a min or two to hit. It is a clean high with no bad aftertaste, and the pre-roll burned evenly and slowly; however, the effects are a bit short-lived for my preference.
Good for:
Pros: Compact packaging, blissful effects
Cons: N/A
The packaging is sleek, trendy, and conveniently compact. The opening mechanism is a little tough, but luckily there are clear directions on the back that, if followed correctly, will lead you to successfully opening the childproof packaging with minimal frustration. Inside are 12 tiny prerolls, all perfectly rolled and uniform in size.
A lovely aroma of vanilla with sweet earthy tones immediately saturates your senses. Intended for a single-use “quick” high, the burn was even with no signs of canoeing. Slightly warm on the lips due to the small size, but still a perfect smoke. The smoking session was very smooth, with no cough or throat burn.
Effects were heavy for this little preroll, most likely due to the crumble infusion. I had a swarm of warm and happy feelings overtake me as I floated into blissful relaxation. I was worried the tiny preroll wouldn’t be enough for me, but it was a perfect serving for one. Great for sharing with friends and discreet enough to toss in your bag before facing the day – these prerolls are something I could see myself using regularly!
Good for:
Pros: Cute packaging, small but mighty
Cons: More product info would be nice
Love at first sight w/ the chic, discreet packaging! The packaging for the mini pre-rolls allows you to throw them in a bag, purse, or backpack and not worry about them getting damaged. The graphics, color palette, and design certainly stand out. Minimal information is provided; a QR code would have been nice to get to know the brand more.
These mini pre-rolls are rolled to perfection. All the same consistent size. There isn’t a particular scent to the pre-rolls except for a subtly sweet aroma. The brand on the filter is a nice touch – small details go a long way. The presentation is great!
Mini but packs quite a punch. These pre-rolls burn slowly and evenly, and the effects are almost, if not immediate. You feel it throughout the body and mind. The effects are lovely, not overwhelming, and are long-lasting for a mini pre-roll. There is no bad aftertaste, and it is smooth on the throat. This is great for a quick smoke that you actually want to feel before resuming back to life. I recommend any heavy consumer always carry these in their bag or purse!
Good for:
Pros: Great sativa effects, citrus flavor
Cons: N/A
These mini-infused prerolls have always been one of my personal favorites. The package is a slim plastic sliding case with child proof enclosure and tamper seal. The front is covered in metallic silver with a slight mirroring effect, maybe so you can see yourSELF (lol). Labeling info is pretty standard, with potency, batch/pack date, and Sativa classification.
The prerolls themselves are in a 12 x 0.25g configuration, which, as the name implies, is not intended for the ‘ole “puff puff pass.” They are rolled nice and tight with white paper and a branded crutch. The lighting process was quick and easy, and the burn remained even throughout the short duration with no relights needed. The smoke was only a tad harsh on the lungs, likely due to the infusion. The flavor is true to the Citrus Circus name, with hints of Tangie and Grapefruit strains. It definitely encompasses the light and airy citrus sativa many of us love.
The effects are quite strong, with a nearly instant uplifting and energetic high. The Sativa category certainly checks out here. 40% THC is very high on the spectrum for infused prerolls, and connoisseurs will be impressed. This is a great daytime strain for experienced smokers!
Good for:
flower and
preroll boxes
Pros: Tastes like “Mexican candy”, giggly high
Cons: Some artificial ingredients
I like the vibrant packaging! With a sweet cucumber flavor and a crunchy sugar coating reminiscent of Tajin, these powerful gummies delivered a punch of flavor. The texture was firm and had a nice chew to it, with no lingering cannabis flavor detected. The ingredients have a few artificial colors I could live without, but aside from that, it was a delightful treat that reminded me of some of my favorite Mexican treats.
The gummies took effect about 45 minutes after consumption and gave me a giggly and very comfortable high, suitable to enjoy outside the house with friends. The effects lasted a while but were very controlled and never made me feel overwhelmed or anxious. A really nice edible experience that I would definitely recommend!
Good for:
Pros: Eye-catching packaging, fantastic flavor
Cons: Very sticky
The first thing you notice about this product is its bright, fun, vibrant packaging. Lemon yellow in color with red accents, and a Luchador wrestler front and center? Immediately intrigued.
The product information can be found on the front of the package. Unfortunately, no strain genotype is listed anywhere, which can be a main factor in a consumer's purchasing decision. Sugar is the second ingredient listed, and all other ingredients used were clean, easily recognizable, and natural. There's nothing listed notating whether these edibles are vegan or gluten-free, etc. Not a major issue, but certainly something the conscious edible consumer looks for these days.
Inside the fun packaging were ten blue, very sticky cubes that were properly and evenly coated in sugar. The texture was a bit softer and gummier than I'd hoped, and the gummies' stickiness instantly got stuck to my teeth, but the sour blue raspberry flavor was fantastic. The 10mg of THC I consumed took just over an hour to kick in and produced easy-going effects that were both uplifting and enjoyable.
Overall, this was a solid (but sticky) gummy that I enjoyed consuming. I think any sour blue raspberry candy lover would really enjoy these easy-going edibles from Ciencia Labs.
Good for:
Pros: Individually wrapped candy, relaxing effects
Cons: Could be more sour
These “fruit drops" are certainly above average! Each gummy is individually wrapped, which is a nice touch for freshness and sanitary reasons. The product label info is pretty standard; however, there is no QR code or strain info.
Inside are gumdrop-shaped discs with a dark green color and sour sugar coating. The flavor is very true to the sour apple label, with very little cannabis taste. I do wish they were a tad more sour, as the “skull and crossbones” design would suggest, but they still taste great if you're a fan of sour apple candy.
The ingredients are vegan and gluten-free! Effects are quite relaxing and hunger-inducing. I tried two pieces for a 20mg dose, and the “stoniness” level was about what I expected for that amount. The 10x10mg configuration is great for a standard dose but not for microdosing. Overall, I think this would be a great buy if you're looking for a classic sour gummy without any fancy packaging.
Good for:
Pros: Functional high, balanced effects
Cons: Slight cannabis taste
This product is perfect for when you want to relax without the couch lock and lethargy! The fruit flavor is light but pleasant and not overly artificial, but there is a subtle cannabis flavor to it that will dissipate shortly after the lozenge is totally dissolved.
I started to feel the effects after about 30min or so and enjoyed this wave of a comfortable body high accompanied by a mellow cerebral effect that kept me aware and functional yet calm. Perfect for chilling at home during a movie marathon or a new t.v. series binge!
Good for:
Pros: Amazing flavor, clean ingredients
Cons: Small portion
To be honest, I wish the size was a bit bigger on this chocolate bar because the flavor is absolutely amazing, and I desperately wanted to eat more! The chocolate is divided into ten single serving (10mg) breakaway squares. The texture is perfect, with a smooth creaminess that coats your mouth. The flavor is spot on, with bits of toffee tantalizing your tastebuds. Ingredients are very simple and clean, and sugar and calories are low enough that they won’t break your New Year’s resolutions.
Effects took about an hour to hit and brought on a well-balanced body high with ever so slight cerebral effects that were just enough to boost my mood while simultaneously relaxing my body. My only negative about this bar is that the portion size isn’t bigger, and that’s only because the taste is so good!
Good for:
Pros: Discreet package, mellow effects
Cons: Hint of cannabis flavor
The packaging is discreet and compact, with sufficient information regarding the strain. The graphics and color palette are easy on the eyes and easy to read.
The gummies are a good size, soft, and coated in sugar – they almost melt in your mouth! You do get a hint of cannabis, but the tropical flavor is pretty tasty. Effects took about 35 minutes to hit, which felt mellow and took me on a nice ride. A long-lasting edible with a smooth come-down!
Good for:
Pros: Vegan & gluten-free, energetic effects
Cons: High in sugar, cannabis taste
While I found these berry fruit snacks to have decent flavor, I don't think this is an edible I would go back for. These 10 x 10mg THC fruit snacks were delivered in a small, beige, mylar-style bag. Images of different berries can be found across the bottom of the packaging, but nothing here catches your eye. While this product is vegan and gluten-free, sugar and corn syrup are the first two ingredients used. Additionally, this product uses artificial colors and provides sufficient nutritional facts but not much more on the plant testing side.
Inside were ten multi-color, small, cube-shaped edibles, complete with the Punch logo branded on one side. "Made with real fruit juice," these edibles had your typical fruit snack texture, but unfortunately, the cannabis taste was a bit overwhelming on the palate. While no strain genotype was listed on the package, after about 70 minutes, I felt a sense of energy and focus take over. Combine this with the intense munchies that closely followed; I would say this felt like a true "hybrid" snack.
While I don't see myself purchasing this product in the future, I think anyone looking for a vegan/gluten-free edible might like to give these a try!

Pros: Cool packaging, relaxing high
Cons: N/A
This vape cart is better than average in basically every category. The package is eye-catching, with a soft matte black, metallic pink, and purple design. Embossed lettering is a nice touch as well. The cart is well-protected inside by a plastic “doob tube” and cardboard insert. The label info is pretty standard; no QR code or terp profile. The cart hardware is a bit on the cheaper side – a plastic chamber and mouthpiece with thin aluminum connectors. No strain or brand info on the cart itself, either.
Nonetheless, the oil inside appears to be of great quality, with a light yellow color and decent clarity. No microbubbles and it passes our thickness test with flying colors. The low heat setting provided a normal hit without any signs of clogging. The flavor is what I'd call spicy and woody. Kind of like a potpourri. Certainly not unpleasant, with just the right balance of cannabis taste as well. The vapor is not harsh, with only a very light lingering dry-throat feeling from repeated use.
The effects are moderate to heavy, with a very relaxing high. Multiple hits can cause sedation, for sure. The indica category definitely checks out, and the 90% THC level is fantastic. The hardware isn't super fancy, but the overall experience is near premium levels – highly recommend it!
Good for:
Pros: Herbal flavors, deeply relaxing
Cons: N/A
The packaging for this vape has a clean and sleek design, and the labeling contains sufficient information. The cart itself is mostly ceramic with a plastic tip – the airflow is smooth and allows for large rips. The oil is clear and golden and appears to be of high quality.
I enjoyed the flavor, which was slightly sweet and earthy with an herbal woodsy finish. The vapor was smooth and clean and did not cause any burning to the throat. The effects were heavy and provided deep, full-body relaxation and mental drowsiness. I would recommend this product for its flavor, high-quality oil, and potent effects.
Good for:
Pros: Golden oil, productive high
Cons: N/A
The packaging for this vape cart feels a bit flimsy but has a clean and professional appearance. The cart itself has an average-looking design and is ceramic at the base with a plastic tip. The oil quality looks great and has a clear, golden color. The airflow is nice and delivers decent-sized hits.
I enjoyed the flavor, which was slightly sweet and citrusy with just a touch of pine. The vapor was pretty smooth but did leave a tickle in the back of the throat. The effects were uplifting and energizing, which would be perfect for a productive, medicated day.
Good for:
Pros: Clear-headed & energized effects
Cons: N/A
This 1g cart from Alpine came in a bright, shiny, orange cuboid-shaped cardboard box. The oil strain and genotype are listed, along with other testing results. Dangling inside the cardboard box was a clear “doob tube” housing the 510-thread cart. Clear silicone stoppers were on either end of the cart to prevent leakage inside the tube. Apart from the surface-level testing results, there's not much more information or a QR code provided.
The cartridge features a clear plastic mouthpiece and tank. I was hoping a company like Alpine would produce a metal or ceramic mouthpiece and/or glass tank, but oh well. Another slight negative was that the cart was slightly clogged starting from the first pull. Still, the oil, which had a honey-gold hue to it, smoked smooth with a wonderful citrus/pine taste and aroma that's typically associated with the Jack Herer strain.
Testing at a respectable 89.94% THC, this vape provided euphoric, clear-headed, and creative effects and also kept me in the zone and energized. I'd simply like to see a higher-quality cartridge without so much plastic and wish the initial clogging issue wasn't present. Other than that, this is a decent product.
Good for:
Pros: Long-lasting effects, clean high
Cons: Packaging could “pop” more
The packaging doesn’t exactly pop among the vast brands; however, the color palette and simple graphics make it chic. Sufficient information regarding the strain type is provided. The liquid looks healthy and clean. There are minimal air bubbles, the mouthpiece is comfortable, and the cartridge feels high-quality.
The effects hit you almost instantly and are felt throughout your entire body. The pull from the comfortable mouthpiece is smooth and easy on the throat. The effects are long-lasting and are not overwhelming, but if you take enough hits, it will leave you on the couch feeling great. There is no clogging, and it feels like a clean high. A fantastic product!
Good for:
Pros: Smooth inhale, sweet/herbal flavors
Cons: N/A
Wonderful cart from Alpine and such a classic strain on top of that. The effects of this cart are swift and strong. The inhale was smooth, with no bubbles or clogging from the first pull and accompanied by this naturally sweet, herbal flavor. Within minutes I felt total relaxation in the body, which helped to ease my lower back pain. There was also a nice cerebral effect that had me totally locked in on some good tv, and I was fully aware of what I was watching and enjoying every second of it. After an hour or so, I could drift off to sleep comfortably. This cart is perfect for an end-of-day wind down without immediately feeling like knocking out.
Good for:
Pros: Candy-like flavor, heavy euphoria
Cons: Bland packaging
The packaging for this vape is a bit bland and has a somewhat cheap feel to it. The product label contains standard info. The cart is nothing exciting; however, the oil has a clear golden appearance that seems high quality. The airflow hits well and allows for large rips. I loved the flavor, which was super sweet, almost like candy, with a touch of herbal pine in the aftertaste. The vapor was pretty smooth and only caused minor irritation to the throat.
I enjoyed the effects, which were fast acting and provided heavy euphoria with some body relaxation as well. I also noticed some mood elevation and appetite stimulation shortly after consuming. Ultimately, I would still recommend it.
Good for:
Pros: Great quality oil, happy high
Cons: Lackluster packaging
This vape cart definitely cuts a few corners on the presentation, but not the oil quality. It does have a soft matte finish and sky blue color, but not much in the way of graphic design. The label info is pretty standard; no QR code or terp profile. The cart hardware is not made of super premium components. It has a plastic chamber and raw aluminum connectors. The mouthpiece is also plastic, but it's a decent-looking clear one.
The oil appears to be of great quality, with a medium yellow color and excellent clarity. No micro-bubbles are to be found, and it passes the thickness test reasonably well. The low heat setting on my battery produced a clean hit with no clogging. The flavor is exactly what you'd expect from Jack Herer, which is one of my favorites. Heavy on the pine and sour. The vapor is not harsh to speak of, aside from the minor irritation I get from all vapes.
The effects are pretty strong, with a mainly euphoric and happy high. Repeated use can cause them to lean more toward the relaxing side. 87% THC and 93% total cannabinoids are very nice high numbers. These clearly don't have much in the way of chemical additives. In sum, I think this would be a great purchase if you're looking for a nice daytime vape cart without any extra bells and whistles.
Good for:
Pros: Relaxing & sedative effects
Cons: Bland packaging
The packaging for this vape cart has a bland design with no artistic flare. The cart itself is relatively uneventful, but the airflow is pretty good and allows for large rips. The oil inside has a very clear and golden appearance. The flavor was sweet and earthy, with a touch of woodsy pine. The vapor was pretty smooth and only caused a slight tickle in the back of the throat. Effects were enjoyable and well-balanced, providing a relaxing and sedating experience throughout the body, followed by mental drowsiness and stress relief.
Good for:
Pros: Energizing effects, tropical flavors
Cons: N/A
This is my new favorite cart! Maui Wowie is in my top 5 favorite strains, and this cart is a perfect example of why. The inhale is smooth with no added artificial flavors, but there is still a subtle, sweet tropical fruit flavor to it. The effects hit almost instantly and helped to get my mood right and ready to take on the day and the energy to do so. Very euphoric, uplifting, and energizing across the board. It’s like a pre-workout minus the jittery feeling and sweating. Ideal for daytime use, in social or solo settings to get into the zone but still have a great time.
Good for:
Pros: Sweet/creamy taste, wonderfully potent
Cons: Mylar bag packaging, plastic materials
This 510-thread vape was packaged in a baby blue mylar bag. I'm always a little nervous when my carts are packaged in mylar, as I'm scared they may break during delivery. As an attempt to prevent leakage, silicone stoppers were applied to both ends of the cart. The front of the package features a product label sticker, which appears to have been just thrown on with no attention to detail. Nothing more than surface-level information is provided.
This 1g cart was filled with thick, golden oil. Unfortunately, both the tank and mouthpiece were plastic. This oil, which tested at 87.08% THC, passed its viscosity test, indicating that it's not cut with anything unnecessary. The oil “smoked” smoothly, wasn't ever harsh, and showed no early indications of the dreaded clog. This Gelato strain had a wonderfully sweet and creamy taste, which translated perfectly into the smell of the vapor. As expected, it produced a euphoric high accompanied by strong feelings of relaxation; just what you want in a hybrid.
This was a wonderful-tasting, potent vape that I would suggest to any smoker on the go. I would only suggest a higher-quality tank, mouthpiece, and/or packaging.
Good for:
Pros: Clean oil, long-lasting effects
Cons: Lackluster packaging
The plastic bag type of packaging is decent, but the color palette and graphics don’t make it pop. The packaging provides basic information regarding the strain, but I do wish they had included a QR code to learn more about the brand or genetics of the strain. The oil looks clean with minimal air bubbles, and the cartridge itself feels quality-wise. The mouthpiece is a comfortable size. I wish they would have put the strain name on the cartridge itself, but other than that, it looks great.
The effects are immediate and felt throughout the entire body. There isn’t a particular taste that I can identify, but it isn’t bad at all. Take a good enough pull, and it will make you feel flushed in the face and, oh, so lovely. The effects are long-lasting, and the come-down is smooth. The effects are consistent with every pull, and so far, there is no clogging. This is a great strain and product. Highly recommend it.
Good for:
Pros: Luxe packaging, full-body effects
Cons: N/A
When you see the Rove name, you know you're in-store for a premium smoke. This 510-thread vape cart came in a black cuboid-shaped slide box with holographic trim and accents that totally catch your eye.
When slid out, the inner cardboard box is completely covered in this same holographic coloring, and a white foam insert safely snugs the 1g cartridge. To help ensure that the cart doesn’t leak inside the box, two black silicone stoppers are applied to both ends of the cartridge. The strain name, genotype, and surface-level testing results are present in more than one place, and an additional QR code lets the curious consumer dig into the complete testing results.
When removed from the foam insert, the first thing you notice is the metal mouthpiece and glass tank used to house the ultra-thick live resin. This live resin has the familiar light-amber, dark-gold coloring you would expect. It “smokes” smooth, with a little spicy bite at the end that reminds me of the Caryophyllene terpene.
I'm also happy to note that I'm almost halfway through this 1g cartridge, and it hasn't clogged. Testing at a potent 91.5% THC, this vape provides powerful full-body effects that make it the perfect nightcap smoke. This 'Jealous Mints' strain relaxed my muscles and provided the sedating effects I enjoy from a powerful indica.
Good for:
Pros: Smooth & potent, giggly effects
Cons: N/A
I’ve been a fan of Rove long before I started working for NuggClub, and they still haven’t let me down. This Blue Dream cart was no exception. There is a lovely yet subtle sweet berry flavor, and the inhale is so incredibly smooth and potent. A quality vape where a little can go a long way because of how strong the oil is. True to the strain, this cart had me feeling uplifted and a bit giggly with a slight hint of body tingles. This fast-acting cart is perfect for both novice and higher tolerance daily consumers.
Good for:
Pros: Classy appearance, calming high
Cons: N/A
This vape cart is definitely premium quality. The package is a unique cardboard sliding box with Rove's proprietary design. Since this is their Premier line, the coloring is all metallic silver with a soft matte black finish. It has a very classy and premium look to it. The label contains all the info you'd want to see, including a full terp profile and two QR codes.
The cart hardware looks and feels excellent. It has a glass chamber with a dark brushed metal mouthpiece and connectors. Not only does it look top tier, but it has a nice weight that feels durable and well-made. The oil is a light amber color with great clarity and excellent thickness. Sometimes, live resin carts can look a bit cloudy, but not this one. The flavor definitely has that live resin taste, but with some hints of sweetness and floral notes. If you like the taste of pure cannabis, this is for you. The vapor is not harsh at all; very smooth. Live resin burns a bit hotter than distillate, so the low temp setting provides a lighter hit that causes no irritation for me.
The effects are nice and strong, with a calming and relaxing high. The hybrid classification makes sense. 93% THC is obviously an awesome number to see. I highly recommend this product – it checks off all the boxes and then some!
